Assuming the patch from https://savannah.gnu.org/support/index.php?109421 has been applied for libcdio 1.0 compatibility (an equivalent patch has already been applied in Debian), the build now fails with libcdio 2.0.0 as can be seen in the log here:

The API changes to the following functions caused breakage:
iso9660_fs_readdir
_cdio_list_free
_cdio_list_node_free
