The latest release, 0.8.8, work file with Youtube.  You might have to remove the cookies, but that is about it.

Because of this, I believe this bug should be closed as fixed.

I have gnash 0.8.5 installed in my ubuntu 8.10.
Type gnash -V in terminal, it shows:

Build options 0.8.5
Target:
Renderer: agg - GUI: GTK - Media handler: gst
Configured with: CFLAGS=-O2 CFLAGS=-g --enable-debugger --enable-media=gst --enable-gui=gtk
CXXFLAGS: -g -O2 -pthread -pthread -W -Wall -Wcast-align -Wcast-qual -Wpointer-arith -Wreturn-type -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wunused -fvisibility-inlines-hidden
Built against gstreamer version: 0.10.21
Linked against gstreamer version: 0.10.21

When I visit Youtube by firefox3.0, it only show black window, the video never get played.

I have the newest ffmpeg libs installed.
