There are VCD .DAT available for download. This is all fine and dandy when watching them on one's
PC.

It would be handy if one could build a VCD image using these files (saves on reprocessing the files).

At the moment, if I want to use these files I need to convert them to MPGs in order to reconvert them into
a VCD image file.

EG a pass could look like

vcdimager --iso-volume-label="My_VCD" --sourcetype=dat vcdfile{1,2,3}.dat
