This group is aimed to create a set of tools and documents to help the translation of www.gnu.org. It is also the common center for the translators of teams.
This group does not translate GNU software.

After more than 8 years of being orphaned, Malayalam team is active again. The new team leader, Aiswarya Kaitheri Kandoth, made a new translation of the Free Software Definition, so now we have 41 translations of that page! [...]

After a 2-year absence, the Romanian translation team is active again under the new leadership of Tiberiu C. Turbureanu, founder of Ceata - the Romanian Free Software Activist organization.

We are pleased to announce the establishment of a new Slovak gnu.org translation team, under the coordinatorship of Dominik Smatana.
Slovak is a Slavic language from the Indo-European family, spoken by more than 6 million people (primarily in Slovakia, Central Europe).

After 4 years of inactivity, the Malayalam gnu.org translation team has been revived, with Shyam Karanattu taking the leadership.
The Malayalam language is from the Dravidian family, and is famous with its beautiful script. It is spoken by about 38 million people, mostly in the Indian state of Kerala.
