The patch has been applied in f0922d23154cc89303af2f22a17445d91d30006c. Thank you very much for letting us know.

libffi 3.0.10, which uses ax_enable_builddir, fails to build on Mac OS X, because it does not anticipate the output format of OS X's wc command. (libffi 3.0.9 compiled fine and did not use ax_enable_builddir.)

The fix is simple and is described here:
