This patch makes nano able to not only navigate to a specific line, but also to go some number of lines up and down. This works by prefixing the line number which is to be visited with either + or -.

Corresponding source code
Obsoleted when a minus started meaning "from bottom of buffer". Also, the ability to show line number and to place anchors has made the patch less useful.
