Interesting patch. But it behaves strangely when doing
<Alt+G> <+> <,> <1>, or <Alt+G> <+> <,> <3> <4>, or any
other column number: it doubles the current line number
and goes to the requested column.

Could you extend the patch to make the above cases return
an "invalid command" message?

This patch makes nano able to not only navigate to a specific line, but also to go some number of lines up and down. This works by prefixing the line number which is to be visited with either + or -.
