I get a similar error when attempting to delete or change response to entries; albeit in different files. 

Semi-Relevant setup:
Retrieved the install from debs.phpgroupware.org on 03/23.
Version is 0.9.16.000 (as per bug, just confirming)
Running vs postgres 7.3, Debian, Apache1
Email PGW app isn't installed, but Calender Preferences
  are set to 'Never' for 'send email notification'
