There is now a new OUTPUT MODIFY command which can be used to set the precision to whatever you like.

I think PSPPIRE should read $HOME/.pspp/rc file...
(way not $HOME/.config/pspp/rc or $HOME/.config/psppire/rc ?)

You can create a file called $HOME/.pspp/rc and that will be
automatically read by PSPP on startup.  Unfortunately PSPPIRE does
not read it.  Perhaps it should?
