You cannot use wildcards with file names to be added to the archive (I am running tar command via env wrapper). I don't get the point, but it is what it is.

I could use instead both --wildcards and --include options to do the same, if only --include option existed!

--include option is "somehow" implicitly mentioned in the man poage at the --wildcards option group, though.

Options are to either use glob(3) with tar or enable --include option with a trivial meaning borrowed (and reversed) from --exclude.

Likely the former solution could be breaking back-compatibility, while the latter would not.
