Sun 15 Dec 2002 08:35:32 AM UTC, comment #9: Ok. I went back as far as I could in the tarballs. (May 2002). pre41-1.

Sun 15 Dec 2002 08:19:51 AM UTC, comment #8: Ok. I dumped the tarball of the latest anglemail and am still getting a segfault. Should I backtrack until I get a successful compose? |

Sun 15 Dec 2002 08:13:21 AM UTC, comment #7: Ok. I checked this again. Clean install of phproupware via cvs 0.9.14_branch - segfault on compose STILL occurs. I KNOW this wasn't a problem w/ the RC1 version way back when. I have to switch to a very old version 14Rc1 to get it to work and now I can't even do that since the table structures don't match. Argh. Which way is up???

Thu 12 Dec 2002 07:10:21 AM UTC, comment #5: I'd be interested to know exactly what checkout date this started happening. Then I could look in the cvs logs and see what code changed just prior to this. Another suggestion is to try the anglemail tarball, perhaps there's a patch that dig not apply correctly in HEAD cvs. Just some guesses. |

Thu 12 Dec 2002 03:32:18 AM UTC, comment #4: This is cvs HEAD code, so imho its not urgent ... and i would like to know who the "whole bunch of other people" are that "have the same problem". I do not know of anyone using head code for everyday use, but I do know of many people happily using the email in phpgw 0.9.14.001.

Thu 12 Dec 2002 01:11:27 AM UTC, comment #3: you could tell us enough detail that someone might beable to reproduce the problem. Can't fix it if it aint broke.

Wed 11 Dec 2002 12:54:35 AM UTC, comment #1: I can not reproduce this. Tested both Apache versions, on RH 7.3 and 8.0 respectively. Using phpgw 0.014.001 and anglemail-1.1-pre8-06.tar.bz2

When you compose a message in the email application, a segfault occurs somewhere right after/during the instantiation of the html_widgets object. |
