You might also want to read the docs in /path/to/phpgroupware/doc/ - specifically php-configuration.txt

Please try updating from CVS, I am pretty sure this bug is fixed in current stable cvs.

$ cd /path/to/phpgroupware/calendar
$ cvs update

When you try to delete any calendar appointment, there is a zero-sized reply from the server, which some browsers interpret as a file download. The item is not deleted from the database, and there is no way to eliminate it.

Our installation doesn't have custom calendar fields.
