I think this is fixed with the newer schema in stable CVS.  I had probelems with this on newer versions of openldap.

Reading you description I guess that's occuring in Admin, when you are editing a user account as admin isnt'it ?

We can't do a lot's of thing if you are not able to reproduce it. Reasons could comes from browser issues, some border cases with perhaps long name in the accountid (but I think we already change this so ...) ... But all that are purely speculatives ...

So I let the bug here, if somebody else encouter this, or if you are able to reproduce it /give more infos ...

I don't have any error in the apache logs.

Which debian version ? (I mean are all packages debian standard ones, for mysql, php ...)

Do you have some apache logs containing php warnings / error related to phpgw ?

Are you using LDAP Account type or SQL ?
