Corresponding source code
when creating an appointment and selecting it to be private, it is also possible to select one or more participates.
The participates can see the appointment as "private:private", when they are not in the private ACL.
I would surgest that a warning is show to the user when having selected participates which is not able to see the appointmen. And that the appointment should not be shown for those who cant read it any way.
