Did you really mean for this issue to be with `ipmidetect` and not `ipmidetectd`?  So that if a user does:

ipmidetect aliasedhost

underneath the covers it knows what host you really mean?  It's a decent idea, and such support exists in 'whatsup' (which I modeled ipmidetect a bit after).

Description of problem:

When using ipmidetectd it is sometimes helpful to have the IPMI interface aliased to the host it manages.  This lets folks focus in on hostname they are addressing for some of the mass commands.

For example, if `wopr1` is managed via `pwopr1`, it would be nice if I could alias `wopr1` under ipmidetectd to `pwopr1`.

There may be some benefits here along side dual stack systems (IPv4 and IPv6) as well.
