The test for nesting commands passes if /bin/sh is a POSIX shell, but fails (correctly) on ancient shells.
This allows for incorrect interpretation of results as illustrated by bug 54807.

The test should fail because so far (as of commit 4d01c1de), wordsplit is unable to correctly process nested commands, as reported in bug 54829.
