To reproduce, open a huge file, search for a string that does not exist, resize the window, then abort the search with ^C. Nano will keep using the old size of the window. When you've made the window smaller, this will look messy. Only resizing the window again will fix that. (A ^L will not fix it -- maybe we should make it so that it does, because that is what ^L is for: get the display back into order.) |
