Recently, the -F N.. and -F ..M bug was fixed.

Still, the idutils tools do not yet check that a value or range passed to -F is really numeric. A non-numeric input is silently ignored, as in

lid -F zzz (no output)
lid -F 10..zzz (all symbols, not just those with freq > 10)
lid -F zzz..10 (no output)

etc.

An error message and refusing to work would be the expected answer IMHO.
