Hi Chris

In prescription, what you get is the prescribing doctor. For security reasons, this is a read-only field that shows the UID of the doctor that logs into the system.

In the other fields, the doctor name is in the form of "Lastname, Firstname".

Best
Luis

Allow me to add in further errors along the same line:
In "Prescriptions", the attending doctor appears only with his first names, if I split up his name as intended by GNUHealth between first name(s) [gonig into Name], and surname [going into Last name].
So, the best move, for now, might still be to ignore the name field altogether?
Cheers!
Chris

Dear Luis,
The issue has, alas, been only partially resolved. Please note the attached screenshots:
If I input given names into the field "Name" and the surname into the field "Last name", I get the following:
CORRECT: Parties;
CORRECT: Users (well, they are entered separately, so this is for completeness, only);
INCORRECT are: Employees, with only their given names listed;
CONFUSINGLY LISTED are: Patients, as their surnames are repeated. Instead any element of the patient name can be searched using "%[string".
Thoughts?
Thanks a lot, Chris

Hi Chris

Today the patient tree shows the two fields, "Name" and "Lastname" just as you fill them in in the party form.

In the Patient tree, I have created a way to display the first and lastname into the patient field (the one we retrieve from the party). I put it in the format "Lastname, Firstname"
Notice that there is no Lastname field in the form, since it's retrieved in the Many2One main patient field.

I added the Lastname for search and sorting purposes.

Best
Luis

Dear All,
Please look at the attached screen shots: Even in the new version, entering given names into the "Name" field, and the family name into the "Last name" field creates incompete listings in "Party", and pleonasm in "Patients" listings.
Or ma I missing something?
Thanks a lot!
Chris
