The attached test file when viewed in gv uses the bounding box as the page size. It would look better if gv used the page size specified by the DocumentMedia/PageMedia DSC comments. Using the bounding box as the page size doesn't make sense unless the file is an EPS file or does not contain any DocumentMedia/PageMedia DSC comments.

I would prefer that gv have the option to set the way it views pages. I customize the bounding box in PS files, which prevents Evince and Okular from displaying them correctly in many cases even though the box encompasses the entire graphic.
