Wordpress is apparently not using completely standard compliant cookies, which are then rejected by wget. Here's some sample output:

cdm: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8Attempt to fake the path: /wp-admin, /wp-login.php

I'll file a bug with WP as well, but it would be nice to at least have the option to skip this check.
