I am using Gnash built against gstreamer version 0.10.22. Yes, codecs are probably missing, or more probably wronged, as there is no popup window complaining about missing codecs. The screen stays simply white.

Positioning is broken, but the video works fine with trunk (ffmpeg). You may have missing codecs, though Gnash ought to give you a popup window in that case.

There is a marketing video at mozilla.org:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fastest/

The movie player uses the following url:
http://www.mozilla.com/includes/flash/playerWithControls.swf?flv=firefox/3.5/fastest/fastest-users.m4v&autoplay=false&msg=Play Video

The movie starts to play, but during video playback there the screen stays blank. Audio works fine. Positioning seems to be also broken.
