album pages for wikipedia can be named
<album>                  # if it's name is unique
<album> (album)          # if not
<album> (<artist> album) # if there are several albums with the same name

the best way i found til now is to do a search with the api (action=query&list=search) using the search string "<album> <artist> album".

i'll take a look to this. what do you think of showing free pictures (if found) of the artist when no album art available?

Can you see if you can implement some of this into the work you've been doing? If not, pass it back to 'None' in the assign list.

We do need to fix this, but we need to consider the fair use thing.

Here's my proposal.

If an album is not on Amazon, and it is not free, then we should use the Wikipedia album art image, and if there isn't one, then the album will have no cover art.

Getting into the situation where we're hosting cover art for hundreds of nonfree albums is not something I want to get into.

So, it would be cool if there was a system for uploading album artwork when the automatic fetcher fails. I'll take a look at the code this weekend to see if I can hack something together.
