Sergio, how do I reproduce this bug?

The problem isn't the message; the problem is that getDuration and getPosition returns always 0 when using Gstreamer, instead the true length and the current playing position.

I'll check the code to see if I can find the bug...

Mad is no more supported. I guess we should fix that error message.
A patch is welcome.

I tested again, and it still fails with Gstreamer, but with ffmpeg works. I haven't tested it with MAD. I attached a file to show the bug.

This file, which I sent some months ago to fix a bug:

https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=13586

triggers this bug.

Can you attach (one of) the files you are trying to play?

I was creating some SWF using my old scripts with SWFC, but I received an error while trying to play them with GNash:

6951] 11:19:55: UNIMPLEMENTED: REFLEX tag parsed ("rfx") but unused
6951] 11:19:55: UNIMPLEMENTED:   FIXME: tagtype = 40
6951] 11:19:55: ERROR: getDuration: only works when ffmpeg, gstreamer or libmad is enabled
6951] 11:20:00: ERROR: getPosition: only works when ffmpeg, gstreamer or libmad is enabled

I tried with 0.8.1 (which comes packaged in Ubuntu), 0.8.2 (compiled by myself) and CVS version, and all fails. But I enabled GST in configure.

I wasn't sure if it was a problem in my scripts, a change in SWFC, or something in Gnash, so I went to the file 13586, which worked fine with old versions of Gnash, but now returns exactly the same error.

I searched the bug list but didn't found it.

I asked in IRC, and they suggested me to fill a bug report.
