It doesn't make sense to spend time on this one. Ming is only used for testcases after all, and the best testing comes with the latest Ming version, which does have ming-config.

The most clean fix would be modifying the ming.m4 shipped with Ming itself, so it's fixed once for all users.

This is a follow on to bug 20058.  The bug item does not specify a resolution or why 20058 was closed.  Or if any changes were made to gnash to resolve the issue.

I can duplicate bug 20058 on Ubuntu 7.10 with gnash 0.8.1.

configure should either detect the Ming version from ming.h or try to find ming-config and report a verbose error message.

Attached is config.log and the configure console output.
