In the swf (http://kmi.open.ac.uk/projects/magpie/movies/iui2004/magpie-on-demand-srv-demo1.swf) from bug #21127 if -v is passed to gnash it logs the following error: ERROR: Encountered unknown tag Unknown TagType 700. These usually store creation tool data and do not affect playback. What is tag 700?

See also http://www.animatedhebrew.com/lectures/chapter_1/movies/gutturals.swf (from bug #31433) for another example of such behavior.

Still present as of 0.8.8.

Interesting enough, you get the same behavior using the proprietary player and setting Quality to "low".

That file has moved to http://usuarios.lycos.es/tsdgeos/geo.swf
This bug is still present as of 0.8.3.

Not an invalidated bounds problem: at least, Ctrl-L doesn't make any difference.

See also bug #21127, for another testcase of what seems the same bug.

Well, to both, if you see this using macromedia flash there are not little pixels left nor overlapping of the objects with the background.

By graphic garbage, I assume you mean the little pixel turds left on the display when the objects move ? Or are you referring to the odd way the moving objects are masked. I see little squares and other things appearing across the moving object as well, although maybe that's in the original software that this screen capture was from.

On http://www.tsdgeos.com/geo.swf i get some graphic corruption when using gnash cvs. The file was generated by a friend using some Windwos propertary program.

Keep up the good work.
