Suggestion to improve working with bib files. I think that every scientist has a special folder with a collection of bib files with reference. I suggest making the folder "Refs" in the menu with two lines inside it "Add bibs" and "Create local bib". The "Add bibs" gives the possibility for the selection of the bib files in some directory. The "Create local bib" creates local bib (in the directory of the tm file) with all bib references used in the paper by using bibexport program. I use this method of working for many years in TexStudio. This method is very useful because I use the same collection of bib files. In TexStudio that last is bibexport -o %.bib %.aux. Because the bib references may be added during the working it is better to update external bibs by clicking on the button Update.
