Pushing tablet and mobile rendering to either version 2.2 or 3.0, depending upon the accomplishments of version 2.1.

Thank you, John.

Virgilio is not work on GNUrc now, so no need to keep in the discussion loop.

This is not a necessity for v2.0, but something we need to keep on our radar and consider how to implement, one day.

Hi Stephen. Not sure how MVC relates to accessibility... but I'm not really an expert on UX matters. The term that's used for sites which adapt to mobile or desktop views is "responsive design". Responsive Design is best implemented with a library like Twitter Bootstrap, but not sure if that's compatible with AGPL...

This is part of the MVC discussion we have been having. We need to discuss more about MVC before we proceed with this task.

We would do well to purse a thorough understanding of
accessibility requirements when editing GNU remotecontrol layout
alignment and zooming.

As we take inventory of the code now for layout functionality, we need to decide if we need to have a minimum/maximum size of the objects for zooming in and out.  Having an object the size of a pin head would never be used. Alternatively, having the vision impaired user be supported through zooming larger is necessary.

Perhaps we need to look into supporting vision impaired and see how that would lead us to a decision point on zooming in/out for the 3 php pages (index, admin, and transactionhistory). We could easily find that those requirements are the answer to our zooming question and meet their needs, at the same time.

Alignment and Resolution now needs to be considered for using a tablet to operate GNU remotecontrol. We need to take inventory of the code we have now and determine if we need to edit that code or add a new layout for a tablet.

In that consideration, we need to determine if we want to support, at all, a smartphone with a considerably smaller screen than a tablet or a laptop.
