mmm ... I hope you find any solution ...because I don't know how to go on ...and I don't want to move to L2.6.35_10.11.01_ER because I already did a lot of patches to correct bugs on freescale gsteamer plugins.
Or ..have you got any suggestion for me?

I tried your test on my Babbage board, and it works, sort of. There appears to be a scaling problem I need to track down, as I only see part of the animation. It works fine on my desktop with a different renderer. But at least it doesn't crash at all.

I'm currently using Ltib L2.6.35_10.11.01_ER, with gcc-4.4.4. I actually had multiple problems when using L2.6.31_10.07.11_ER, plus it had an older compiler version as well.

I'am using gnash snapshot from gnashdev.org wiki taken at this link:
http://www.gnashdev.org/tools/ltib/gnash-20110227.tar.bz2
...so the release in date 27-02-2011

and I am using LTIB package L2.6.31_10.07.11_ER

I attach the SWF file that causes the problem!

(file #22864)

I'd need to try the swf files myself, I haven't seen any segfaults on OpenVG functions at all. Are you using Gnash from the git 'openvg' branch or one of my snapshots off the gnashdev.org wiki ?

I have found a problem playing some swf files.... I get a sigsegv violation in calling vgRenderMask ...always the same call for different swf files!
It is something that you already know?
Have you got a bug fix for it or it is a problem in openvg lib?

A patch for fullscreen mode would be appreciated. :-) I decided initially to keep it at the original size, as the aspect ratio is different between the Babbage LCD and a desktop. Full screen could distort the animation.

You shouldn't have to set DISPLAY for X11. Gnash runs with or without X11, make sure you have the correct GPU drivers. Also when running Gnash, try specifying the rendeder, ie... --renderer=openvg. The newer snapshot set this by default, the older ones don't.

It works !!!! ..at the end!
But what about scaling?
I seems that swf files are not scaled fullscreen...but remain with the original size!

I'am using a freescale babbage!
I understand that with X11 I could have problems ...but I can Use gnash without X ....
But it seems it doesn't work anyway!
So ...which is the correct way?
if i understand well ..just expoerting DISPLAY=:0.0 is sayingo to gnash to use X11? I should avoid it?

And which sw packages I am missing???

I've only tried the imx51 framebuffer with OpenVG on a Freescale Babbage. Under X11 I have tried OpenVG as well, but only with the libMesa implementation, not ltib builds. As the libMesa only implements OpenVG 1.0 (the imx51 uses OpenVG 1.1), there may be subtle differences in setting up the X window. Note that the OpenVG work is still under progress, patches appreciated. Using Git, the same sources that are on the ltib wiki page are contained in the "openvg" branch.

If I don't export DISPLAY env variable ... I get

What I miss? sw packages or kernel drivers?

There are two sets of GPU drivers, one for use under only the framebuffer, and the other for use under X11. I've been only using the framebuffer version, but make sure you loaded the right package.

You need to install the amd_gpu files, which is one of the config options when selecting packages. Without the GPU drives being installed, EGL won't work. You can use the test_egl test case in libdevice/egl to test without using all of Gnash.

Please note the OpenVG support is a work in progress. It does animations fine, continuing debug work on hardware gradients and hardware bitmap handling is still required till Gnash will be fully functional.
