Lightspark is an alternative, but it only work with the new format. I started a pledge on http://www.pledgebank.com/gnash-avm2 to try to raise funding to get AVM2 support into Gnash, and it is open until December 24th this year.	Petter Reinholdtsen <pere>

The parser works, there are some class definitions that work already, the rest are just stubs. The big headache has been refactoring Gnash to create objects differently than older swf versions. This requires the core Gnash libraries become thread safe, not a trivial amount of work.	Rob Savoye <rsavoye>
