Corresponding source code
GRUB doesn't work with an uncommon format of a floppy, such as 1.68MB.
That's because GRUB relies on BIOS information too much. Support for
embedding a fixed geometry in a drive has already been implemented by
Thierry Laronde, but it's not integrated into the official version yet.
