Hmm, what about the "lowercasing" of titles? It's done at least for tm-plain, and it's a mistake for german titles if they contain any nouns. Should that go into some sort of plugin or we rather avoid the lowercase conversion?

AFAIK, there is currently no ability for bibliography internationalization in TeXmacs. So this bug isn't related to conversion. It's a lack of the plugin.

In my opinion, the best way to handle with bibliography internationalization in LaTeX is to implement support for the babelbib package.
See http://mirrors.ircam.fr/pub/CTAN/help/Catalogue/entries/babelbib.html

If I use the German bibtex styles with TeXmacs, I run into trouble, because the bibtex output contains LaTeX commands that TeXmacs doesn't know.

Such a command is for example "\btxandlong" and is defined in bibgerm.sty for different languages:

--- snip ---

--- snip ---

It would be nice if there would be a way for TeXmacs to replace these commands by the right word or even execute them by calling latex.
