    When connection to remote host is lost for some reason such as VPN timeout, GUI asks if the user wants to wait for the connection to be restored.

    If wait is selected, GUI waits for some time and asks again.   Even if the VPN or other connection is restored, GUI will continue the cycle of asking if the user wants to wait.

    May need to save all the GUI state so restore can happen or just ask the user to restart the GUI and reconnect to the remote host.

    A workaround for users encountering this is to close GUI and restart and then reconnect to the remote host.
