If we install a SeaBIOS image on a ThinkPad, the GRUB provided by the distributions usually default to gfxterm which results in a black screen during boot.

If this is fixed, SeaBIOS could work for most situations and could become the default image.

A way to fix could be to make the grub gfxterm somehow detect that we only support CGA and somehow use the console terminal instead of gfxterm, and wait until all the distributions update their GRUB version.

Another way could be to implement enough of the VGA standard to make GRUB work.
