Sun 14 Jan 2024 10:47:15 PM UTC, original submission:

When trying to update inetutils from 2.4 to 2.5 on a new Linux distribution, it suddenly fails when building with clang.

There are a few "error: use of undeclared identifier 'PATH_TTY_PFX'", "error: use of undeclared identifier 'PATH_DEVNULL'" & error: use of undeclared identifier 'PATH_WTMPX'. I don't know if the `paths` file is not correctly loaded or why they are undeclared.

Looks like KaOS stumbled upon the same issue, since they switched to building with gcc again:

Would be great if this could be fixed, thanks!
