On an X60T I had a similar crash, then I removed the right RAM DIMM, and it booted again.

After flashing GNU Boot 0.1 RC5 with grub, corebootfb and qwerty and putting back the right RAM DIMM, the issue is gone for now.

As it comes and I'm unsure if the above is really relevant or not.

The CPU is a core 2 duo L2400.

KGPE D16 with nonfree BIOS:
---------------------------
I managed to reproduce something similar with the KGPE-D16 nonfree BIOS and guix-system-install-1.4.0.i686-linux.iso. Installing the debug image of GNU Boot 0.1 RC5 makes the problem go away though. The guix-system-install-1.3.0.i686-linux.iso works fine with the nonfree BIOS though.

I didn't manage to capture the log yet through the UART as the main UART connector is probably broken on the board I got.

X60 with GNU Boot:
------------------

I also managed to boot guix-system-install-1.3.0.i686-linux.iso on an X60 with GNU Boot 0.1 RC2. The kernel being used in this image is the 5.11.15-gnu.

With GNU Boot and Guix sometimes my X60 fails to boot.

I use a SeaBIOS image with txtmode and usqwerty.

I've captured the following boot log with SeaBIOS's readserial.py and the following command: guix shell python python-pyserial -- python3 /gnu/store/x3vhwjnxbznjgl4114jx8lmqqyd0p571-seabios-1.16.2-checkout/scripts/readserial.py /dev/ttyUSB0

I then booted the computer, pressed Esc, selected the HDD, and in grub I entered the command line and typed serial -u 0 -s 115200 and added the serial port with terminal_output --append serial_com0

I then ran cbmemc to get the Coreboot log and then I added console=ttyS0,115200 loglevel=8 to the Linux command line and booted Guix. But the boot failed.
