Thu 04 Feb 2021 12:47:26 PM UTC, original submission: `tar -x --to-command $command` creates an empty directory tree since version 1.33 - in contrast, version 1.32 only piped the files to $command and kept the filesystem as-is. A similar issue seems to happen for --to-stdout - see https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/69373	Anonymous
