The variable MAKECMDGOALS is hard to find, because it is documented only in:
- Appendix A Quick Reference
- 9.2 Arguments to Specify the Goals

I think it should be documented in
- 6.14 Other Special Variables

And a link in
- 6.11 Target-specific Variable Values
