I'm able to reproduce the problem on Linux i386, here is the backtrace of the core dump:

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libthread_db.so.1".
Core was generated by `../src/3dldf tngnts_1.ldf'.
Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Well, the title is not correct. The binary does not fail to build, but it dumps core later on on some architectures. Hence the build of the Debian package fails. Sorry!

FTBFS on mips64el, hurd-i386, ia64, powerpc, x32 - "src/3dldf tngnts_1.ldf" segfaults

3dldf FTBFS on the above architectures with the error:

> ../src/3dldf tngnts_1.ldf

> make[4]: *** [Makefile_sub:21: tngnts_1.mp] Segmentation fault

The submitter said:

"While it didn't fail on amd64, running 3dldf in valgrind (on amd64) immediately crashes so this is probably not an architecture specific error."
