Git bisect test (239c395 good -> "release_0_8_9_final" bad) revealed that:

Oldest tag in Gnash's git repository only dated back to somewhere after
0.8.4 release (tag release_0_8_5_start); the 0.8.4 release itself was
not listed. I think Gnash was on Bazaar repository at that time.

Nearest commit I could find is 239c395 which is the fourth-last change
of the 0.8.4 release according to changelog. I couldn't find the next three
commit though.

Maybe it's a good idea to tag corresponding commit of every Gnash releases,
for the ease of future regression testing.

Note (for the record): 0.8.4 was released on 13-Oct-2008, according to
timestamp on Savannah's download area and the last item on its changelog.

This is an image result from Adobe Flash Player:

You'd see that in both result, number of cars and countdown time are displayed
on scoreboard at bottom-right of the screen.

This is an image result from current Gnash 0.8.11dev git:

You'd see that from Gnash 0.8.9 onward, scoreboard at bottom-right
of the screen was blank.

All screenshots are attached as `ilovetraffic_roundup1.zip`.

I have used current git version of Gnash to play I Love Traffic game (Flash 10 with AVM1):

http://www.silvergames.com/i-love-traffic
(http://f3.silvergames.com/i-love-traffic.swf)

Depite the game was playing fine with a bit of volume control problem
(bug #35984), I found that the scoreboard on bottom-right of the screen
didn't show up correctly; it should show number of cars left on the stage,
with countdown timer, but it shown up blank on current Gnash.

However, with old Gnash 0.8.4 release, number on the scoreboard was visible.

Gnash: 0.8.4-3~lenny1 (debian)
System: Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 Lenny i386

Gnash: 0.8.11dev (git 62cfdfe 16-Jan-2016)
Flash Player: 11.2 r202 (11.2.202.491) Standalone
System: Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 Wheezy i386

P.S. This problem somehow didn't surface in a newer re-issue of this game.
(If you are running the newer version, you'll see mobile application link on
its main menu; original version didn't have it)
