At present, Gnash stops executing the script after the action limit is hit (with a popup asking); and no longer hangs. The odd thing is that the Gnash menu disappears after that, although you can still access the options via the right-click menu. This last issue probably has something to do with:

At any rate, it seems that Gnash handles this movie just as well as the pp (while not being logged in). Should we declare victory on this bug?

The PP also hangs. The difference is that while the PP gets out of the hanging as soon as action limits are hit, gnash keeps trying to execute the offending script (after hitting action limit as well).
