Doesn't seems to be much support for this. I don't see the need either.

It's trivial to implement, so if anyone is really for it, perhaps an email to gnash-dev would trigger some discussion.

log_fatal() might really not be needed as a really fatal
error could be an exception we'd end up letting hosting
application catch (does it sound) ?
