Well, it's implemented but not very compatibly.
Currently Gnash stores html text and text as separate strings.
To complete the task we need to:
1. store formatting information in text records permanently, which means:
2. stop clearing and rebuilding textrecords at the drop of a hat,
3. properly test html parsing and implement accordingly (there are some tests already in actionscript.all/TextFieldHTML.as, but none pass),
4. reconstruct HTML text on demand using the stored formatting information rather than storing the original htmltext.
The first task is the hardest, as it involves being able to split, add entries to, and change formatting of TextRecords. There should be one TextRecord per style and per line.
