Ariane Lançon has kindly prepared the attached King.pdf file for the experiences she had with it. It is based on the Astropy implementation of this function KingProjectedAnalytic1D (see the function under "Notes"). Fortunately the structure of MakeProfiles is sufficiently modular to allow easy addition of this profile to the rest: the functional form of all the recognized profiles are in bin/mkprof/profiles.c.
