Also add the option to save the output in a file:    -I get an error when I save to a file it fits and I use asttable.    -It saves all the output not only the table. Wed 07 Apr 2021 09:54:17 PM UTC, comment #1:  I made the first commit to this task: https://gitlab.com/Adrihp06/sdss16_query/-/blob/master/sdss16.c I'm making the query with the apis that sdss already has (http://skyserver.sdss.org/dr16/en/help/docs/api.aspx) I have to improve the input arguments and add other features like the band filters or the coordtype. Wed 03 Mar 2021 07:43:16 PM UTC, original submission:   The latest SDSS database on VizieR is the 12th SDSS data release. However, on its own webpage we also have Data release 16. As far as I know, SDSS doesn't have provide TAP access (I may be mistaking, but I couldn't find it in a simple search). So we have to use a custom command for querying this database.
