Initial commit

To meet the Federation model needs, MyGNUHEalth will be an standalone application, both for mobile and for desktop.

The application should be able to connect to the federation and update the demographics and medical data.

Dear community:

The inital app have two main functionalities :

- Patient Portal : Update demographic info, Appointments, interaction with health institution and professionals, ...

- PHR : This will allow to store information (weight, glucose, blood pressure, vital signs ...) and send it to her / his history in GNU Health server. This information will be stored in a separate model than the evaluation.

I'd like to put the name "myGnuHealth" for this app.

Comments / suggestions are most welcome.

Dear all

I am happy to announce tha for the upcoming relaease 3.2, we will count with a native mobile application specific for GNU Health.

It will be available for Ubuntu touch and Android OS initially.

The GNU Health mobile application will have two main groups :

  • Person and Patient self management: Appointments, interacting with health professionals, reporting issues, telemedicine, ...

  • Medical : For health professionals. Recording clinical data, Domiciliary Units surveys, socioeconomic status recording, ...

Rather than replicating the functionality GTK client, the GNU Health mobile will provide a nice and User Interface, for those users of mobile devices.

Also, this great milestone that keeps GNU Health in sync with the latest technological developments.
