Currently in
http://www.texmacs.org/tmweb/help/manual.en.html
the user manual for TeXmacs is provided in ps format. It would be very helpful if you can provide the documentation in pdf format as well.
pdf format has some advantages over ps format. For example, in Debian GNU/Linux, when I open the ps file using gv, I cannot search for a phrase. However almost all pdf readers (xpdf, kpdf, acroread etc.,) provide search functionality.
Many people who refer to the user manual want to search for a string instead of reading the whole thing. That is why I think it would be helpful if you can provide the documentation in pdf format as well.
Currently, I am using the method of ps2pdf to get the required pdf file. But if texmacs, itself makes it available on the website, it would be much more useful.
thanks
