The string templates in their Java 21 form have been withdrawn. See https://mail.openjdk.org/pipermail/amber-spec-experts/2024-April/004106.html

To be done when the spec is final. For the moment, it's still a "preview feature" in Java 21 and 22. See https://docs.oracle.com/javase/specs/

Java 21 introduces strings with variable references, as in Python and Perl, called "string templates". xgettext should support this syntax.
