This bug has been fixed in Commit edd1686d. See the description there for the details.

This change will be officially released in version 0.21, but until then, the latest Gnuastro source code and corresponding book that include this bug fix (among many others!) are available in the links below:

In WCSLIB, the 'altlin' element of the 'wcsprm' structure is a bit-string that is 1 for each different method of defining the WCS standard's rotation matrix. The reason it is defined as a bit string is that multiple versions may be present in the keywords at the same time.

As of Gnuastro 0.20, we had only accounted for the input FITS file to have a single one of the standards; not more than one. This was brought up as a bug report within the bug-gnuastro@gnu.org mailing list by Colin Orion Chandler.
