I would be necessary to change the 'sigclip-number' parameter to 'sigclip-area'. The reason is that all parameters related to the measurement of the number of pixels contain 'area' instead of 'number'. |

That is interesting! So, implicitly we assume that area implies continuity while number can be no-continue. Makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.
