Scheme introduced a lexeme with R6RS (http://www.larcenists.org/Documentation/Documentation0.98/r6rs.pdf) and directives with R7RS (http://www.larcenists.org/Documentation/Documentation0.98/r7rs.pdf). When I use these features, xgettext 0.19.8.1 fails to parse the entirety of the source code. Specifically, all code after the lexeme/directive is ignored.
Example Scheme file "test.scm":

the output PO file should include both the "user" and "disabled" msgids, but "disabled" is missing. Commenting out the lines with lexeme/directives leads to the expected output being generated
